Process & Core Competency
Konkan has set up hi-tech shade house where it produces seeds and planting material for high altitude spices and herbs. The mother stocks have been obtained from Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli & Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP). Most of the pure herbs spices in our herbs list are cultivated by own using advance techniques of farming.

One individual farm of the firm is under organic cultivation practice for more than 2 years. Land preparations were carried out with least disturbance to the soil structure and sufficient compost has been broadcasted before planting of spice crops. Sufficient Legumes were grown in the farmer field as intercrop to improve the fertility of the soil. All farming activities were initiate in accordance with NPOP & NOP standards.

Processing Unit:
Steam distillation unit is located at Konkan Essential Oil farm at Dapoli. The unit has the capacity to distill 2 MT of biomass per day. Clean underground water has been used during processing and the unit has been kept free from any un-allowed substances. The finished products are kept in clean UN certified HDPE drums with clear labeling and stored at factory warehouse.
